Hello,

I would like to use the amps from 2 chan stereo receivers to drive a HT speaker system. Will the 950 accommodate this type setup? If not, what other equip would I need?

thanks much,
Gary

sorry if this is the wrong fourm for this type question

Ideally, you would use one or more power amplifiers (such as these from Outlaw) connected to the 950's preamp outputs. It is possible to use a receiver as a two-channel amp by connecting two of the 950's preamp outputs to the left and right channels of one input on the receiver, but it's not exactly ideal. You'd need to find a good volume level on each receiver and leave it there, because the 950 needs to be responsible for volume control. A very few receivers may include amp inputs, which would make this approach more reasonable, but that's a pretty rare feature.
