Well, I figure it's just a few days before I run over to wal-mart at midnight and pick up a copy. So I may as well start the thread.

Anyone else here drooling in anticipation?

My wife just picked up a copy for me at Wal Mart. They had it for $9.89! Can't wait to watch it, never saw it in the theater.

I don't have to run out and buy it. I've just been informed legions of young guys are descending tonight with 'their' copy. (I have the biggest TV). Oh Boy

I found these Easter Eggs at http://www.dvdreview.com/html/hidden_features.shtml
I haven't tried these myself yet, but it might be fun to try.

The first DVD of the set contains three different menu themes that are selected randomly upon boot-up of the disc. However you can select any of the three themes directly by pressing the '1', '2' or '3' key during the FBI logo.

On the first disc you can also find a blooper reel with DVD production credits. To see it highlight the THX logo on the screen and then press the numbers '1138' on your remote control. Alternatively you can also directly access Title 3 on the DVD for this feature.

On the second disc of the set select 'Dex’s Kitchen and Still Galleries.' In the following menu select 'Dex’s Kitchen' and in the menu screen that follows highlight the 'Main Menu' menu entry. Now press the 'Left' arrow key on your remote control and a small panel will be highlighted. Press 'Enter' now to see an additional still gallery with humorous posters from a College Campaign.

Will they be doing a follow-up DVD with all of the goodies is three months like they did with LOTR?

If not, I will be at the store tomorrow! ;-)

Lucas has not been extremely forthcoming with discs -- you'll be getting this one 2-disc set, and nothing more for several years (Episode III in 2005, original trilogy most likely after that).
