I'm looking for a high quality small-foot print two-channel mini amp to hook up to my computer system. Features I'd appreciate: approximately 30 high-quality watts per channel, large volume knob, earphone plug, autosense power-on, pop protection. Would like to be able to adequately drive upscale mini-speakers or small book shelf speakers. Tone controls, balance controls, are not necessary.

An upscale model may include PC/TV/CD/Aux switch and volume remote control (easily trainable) which would be more flexible in terms of application. (I'd use it for upgrading the sound of one of my bedroom SAT/TV combinations).

I haven't spent much time looking, and the only thing I have found that comes close is a RCA model sold by Radio Shack for $60. My experience with RS stuff is I usually end up returning it.

If anyone else thinks a simple high-quality little amp like this would be useful, please speak up.
