I have an Alpine 10 inch R series sub in a small cube that was in my Suburban. The Suburban is gone.

I am wondering if one of my M200s will work with that sub for bedroom use. No loud stuff, just a little extra omph!

The "R" series has dual voice coils in either 2 ohm or 4 ohm. If you have the dual 4 ohm just wire in series and you'll be fine with the 8 ohm load. If it's the dual 2 ohm wired in series it would present the amp with a 4 ohm load which should also be fine.

Should work OK, but that amp is a bit on the underpowered side to drive that particular load, especially if you've got the 2+2 variety of the sub.

Thanks for the replies.

I don't know if it is the dual 4 or 2 but it sounds like it will be worth a try.
