Hello: I have had 2 full days with almost that set up. I was a bit worried the first day till I got it calabrated with help from people on this site. gonk especially!! I retired a old Yamaha rx v -850 old school from japan. I gotta tell it to like this the 7125 has a ton of power to drive your B&W speakers. I never had seperates and triming the 990 up a tad in the 2 channel mode with sub.I heard my CD's like I never did before. Thats a fact not to jump on any band wagon I'm pretty hard to please. Heck its my hobbie. I have't got to close to the Outlaws yet on movies due to the fact my kids PS3 are still wrapped and under the tree. You see my setup list below the post. Feel free to contact me anytime !! Tom

Thanks again Tom. I'm going today to do one last critical listening test.

I can't help you with the 804's because I have the 604's. I can tell you that my very picky ears are very satisfied with the B&W 604/Outlaw combo. I have listened to the 804's extensively and to tell you the truth I could not justify the price difference between the 600's. There is no doubt the 804 is better, but, it was in the realm of diminishing returns for me.

I got a pretty good deal on the 804/HTM3 combo. I heard the 600 series and I could hear a significant difference between them, the 703s I listened to and the 804s. I also heard the 803Ds, but I preferred the 804S, especially with a sub. This is the current lineup, in B&Ws previous lineup the 600 and 700 series sounded similiar to me but the 800/Nautilus series always sounded different (not always better, but different). That's my take/ears anyway. Over a decade of shooting 1000+ rounds a month has taken its toll on my ears I'm sure.

I was a little worried the 7125 wouldn't be powerful enough to drive the 804Ss. Haha, I cranked it up to less than half-volume with my current Klipsch RF3s and and it was insanely loud, and no amp coloration

This will go in my theater room. Here's the setup if anyone's interested

Outlaw 990/7125
B&W 804S (on order)
B&W HTM3S (on order)
NHT IC4 surround
Outlaw LFM-1 Plus
Monster Power 3550 MkII fed by TrippLite conditioner
Pioneer Elite 50" plasma
HD DirecTivo HR10-250
PS3
Panasonic DVD (being replaced)
HTPC (Vista MCE coming Feb '08)
MIT Terminator II speaker cables
Monoprice HDMI
Custom homebrew RCAs/digital

Woohoo!! The B&W 804S's and the HTM3S arrived at my dealer today! We're in the middle of a horrible storm out here in CA. I'll wait for it to pass before picking them up. I can't wait!!!

I think I've sold my current Klipsch reference RF3s (mains, center and sub). Makes the $-hit a little easier
