I recently became aware of tube buffers, such as the Musical Fidelity x10v3. As I understand the concept, it's a way of introducing tube type sound in a solid state environment. I'm curious if anyone has one of these devices and how they like it. I've seen a lot of positive reviews, but would like to hear from some folks in this forum.

Been using both the MF X10v3 and the Yaqin Tube Buffers in my Parasound separates system. Recently replaced my Parasound AVC-1800 processor with the Outlaw Audio 990. Having the tube buffers in place adds that tube warmth to my system. I would recommend going with the Yaqin over the MF. You can tube roll, upgrade the power cord and obtain a much better sound out of your system with the Yaqin vs. the MF using the soldered in 6112 tubes, and it's less expensive. Here is a link to a review I did on Epinions about the Yaqin and where I purchased it: http://www.epinions.com/content_312424107652 Let me know if you have any additional questions.
