Cambridge Audio is a company I am familiar with from the UK, and so when looking for a DVD player I seached for DVD players from CA. My understanding is that CA is a somewhat budget mid-fi audio company.

They have a range of players, apparently based on the Oppo, and it looks like there are sales on retiring DVD players (e.g., the Azur 540D, which plays DVD-A but not SACD). Strangly, the new DVD-89 does 790p output and DVD-A/SACD, whereas the older (and on sale) DVF-79 does 1080i and DVD-A/SACD.

Any Outlaws with an opinion on Cambridge Audio DVD players?
