Anyone seen SuperDisc from Monster - multichannel audio on DVD-Video discs in DD, DTS, AAC and DH encoded MP3 formats. Looks like it's been out a while, and since there's only 4 discs in their catalog it looks like it may be underperforming (and the Monster haters rejoice).

Has anyone given one of these things a try?

I picked one of them up a while back and thought it was fair but not exceptional. For what it's worth, I don't plan to pick up any more.

I haven't heard any of these, and this thread led me to take a peak. From their site:

Most analog signals are converted to digital using PCM, which samples the signal 8,000 times per second! Stereo tracks in PCM are in 96k/24bit and deliver high fidelity stereo from any DVD player. Audiophiles unite!
8khz?? What the heck are they talking about???
