Anyone tried Butt Shakers? I was wondering how effective they are or are they a waste of $$$$$. http://www.4seating.com/accessory_probassshaker.htm

i've never used them or ever plan to.for $249 each, they are a bit steep(aura makes cheaper),but it looks like you would have to run a line from your sub out to an amp to power them, soooo,it could involve hidden cost.(plus one for each seat) i just rearranged the basement(with carpet and padding and found out just how hard my sub is hitting in the hot seat!
my opinion is that they are a waste!

paittoad,
my h/t is in the basement too. carpet over padding. my sub shakes the cement slab enough that i feel it in my couch. kind of like those tactil inducer deals. pretty cool stuff.

Painttoad,

Is that a monitor audio subwoofer? My sub is the only speaker I have that is not made by monitor audio.
