You can determine the screen size two ways.
#1) down load the manual.
or
#2) Use the calculator found here.

I made a DIY screen based on the plans I found here. The image is great!!

Good luck with your upgrade.

You might take a look at this area on AVS Forum about lower-priced projectors:

Lots of good info here.

We had a shootout over here at the house last summer and we involved a bunch of projectors including the HS10, a Panny LCD, an X1, and several others I don't even remember.

Although all the projectors did a pretty decent job, the HS10 was noticeably better and quieter. Since then, I've taken a look at the HS20 and it seems like they've only made it better.

I don't think you can go wrong. We were projecting on a 120+" Da Lite screen and it looked great.

On the subject of screens, a couple guys had DIY screens and they were amazed at how much better the DaLite screen looked. I think it's worth figuring a good screen into the budget rather than trying to DIY one. FWIW, I found an $1100 retail screen online for $400.

Have you considered a DIY mount?

I used my S&V disk and got great results as well. I just can't justify the cost of an ISF calibration. Granted there might be a slight improvement in the picture quality, but $500-600 worth of improvement? I'd keep the money.

My $.02
