Currently using this in a two ch system with a sub.
The DV45 speaker configuration is set internally to two small front speakers - no Center speaker - no Rear speakers - Sub is set to on.
DV45 is connected to an Outlaw 1050 via the 5.1 inputs (L+R+S)
DVD Audio plays via 5.1 connection
DVD movies play via 5.1 or Optical
CD's play via optical or analoge connections

SACD ? / Seems like it worked fine untill I put my first DVD-A in the unit. Multi ch -or- Two ch SACD's played with no problem.

In order to get the DV-45 to play SACD's now I have to go into the OSD and "check" (not change) the fixed - vs variable audio setting. Once I select "variable" and ask for the demo tone - ( which I do not hear )
Exit the setup mode and it will play SACD's ( multi ch > two -or- two ch )
Any idea as to why I keep having to do this ?

What a pain ! Is this unit defective ? Seems like the unit should auto detect disk format and play if it is a true multi format player.
