Well guys I’ve ran into a new problem since my purchase of the 950/7100 combo. I’ve started enjoying my music again and started buying a lot of CD’s, so many in fact that I know longer have room in my 101 disk CD changer. I’m looking to upgrade to a 2,3, or 400 disk changer. My question is who makes the best sounding unit right now? Any info would be of great help to me.

Thanks in advance

I would think the "sound" would stay the same if you are using the 950's DAC's via the player's digital out. This should allow you to focus on a reliable unit with enough storage capacity to accommodate your collection. As to a good unit....anyone!

CD's are so old school.

You should look into a media server. It certainly would be expandable the next time you want to add to your collection.

Otherwise, Sony makes some of the better CD changers. They have one that holds 400 discs, does SACD, and plays DVDs for about $350.

Good luck!
