"Sub"-human Demo Material - 10/07/02 12:44 AM

Well I invested in a Paradigm PW 2200...and all I can say is HOLY CRAP! So, after checking some of the other forums here, I figured it may be time to start a "SUB-HUMAN" thread here.

Any suggestions to use to get this baby fired up...I've already used LOTR-FOTR as a "demo" disc on this baby (a little to bass heavy for me). Any other suggestions, or favorite sub-human scenes to play with?

I was quite impressed with the Matrix. The sub effects are far more subtle then LOTR but there is the one section after Neo defeats Agent Smith and the walls of the matrix buckle...yowza. My place was ratteling like we had a quake in North Dakota.

So, let's hear it. What do I need to pick up?

How about Terminator 2 and Jurassic Park (1, 2 and/or 3)to start with? I'll find more for you later.

I would suggest Titan ae, Monster inc, Toy story 2. I will add to the list later but these are a good start in the animated section.

I will also add the following: Blade 2, We were soldiers, Star wars TPM. There is so many more.

Also try this site for more bass demos. They even give chapter stops so you can jump right to the fun.

One of my favorite topics!!

Lost in Space...exiting hyperdrive
Long Kiss Goodnight...bridge destruction

And perhaps the "grandaddy of 'em all"
Saving Private Ryan...D-Day and the scene at the end with the Panzer tanks.
