External Hard Drive Connect To 976

I'd like to connect an external hard drive containing music files to the 976. Is this possible?

Do you have any recommendations on what type of hard drive (SSD?) and connection type?

I'd appreciate any advice from persons doing this already. Thanks.

It is not possible. You would need a music streamer and server or just connect a computer with a USB DAC There are so many options.
