976 trigger out failure - 10/12/20 12:11 PM
I sold a recently acquired 976. I didnt test trigger output cause most of my preamps never had it.
New owner says tech determined trigger out is bad.
Is this common ? Whats the fix ? New owner says he has it set right .
Looks like im going to have to take it back over that

There are 2 trigger outs on the 976.
Has he tried both of them?
It would be nice to see a screen shot of the input setup to make sure it is set correctly.

ugh what a long day..
I started off the day by searching and finding the info that clearly stated how to set up the triggers. I then told him where to look. well...he didnt bother but he did tell me that I could give him $100 and he would take it somewhere and they would look at it. I told him to send it back and he told me he didnt want to ..that was a first...
so the entire day I spent on and off the phone texting him and asking questions over and over...after 6hrs passed at least I get a reply from the dude asking me where he goes to check for the 1 & 2 trigger setting...after I had been telling him all day he finally reads ..
well he says he followed the directions I text him the link of the FAQ which #13 tells how to set up the amps with the triggers.
he says he tried it 2x with no luck.
I give up. I gave him $100 and told him I am done.
I am not sure whats really the deal. but my God talk about failure to read . I told him a dozen times and he acted like he did all that only to find out he didnt...but still says it doesnt work.
I would have opened it up and checked it myself but he doesnt feel comfortable.
thanks for answering on both my posts btw....
