new 976 issue with Netflix audio?

new 976 issue with Netflix audio? - 06/22/20 01:59 AM

I cannot figure why the fire tv audio set on 5.1 will not play through the 976. My other devices have no issue with it. any suggestions? actually running 7.1 but that should not be the issue. I change the audio setting on Netflix to stereo and get the soundtracks.

I've had some audio issues streaming with my Fire TV. But, it turned out to be only a particular App. I changed the audio settings to another choice, and that fixed the problem. It wasn't the stereo choice though. I just left left it on that choice since. Even though all other Apps played fine before. Haven't had a problem with Netflix yet. Have you tried resetting Netflix?

There's a menu column to the left when you're in Netflix. Scroll down to the "get help" line and click on that. Scroll down to "reload Netflix". You will then have to re-enter your user ID and password.
It may help.
