Hello,
I'm looking for a new stereo Amp for my Bose 901 EQ VI.
Can I get this model?
Would someone please let me know.
Thanks,

Hello Vinh,

I can't quite tell if you are looking for input from Outlaw staff, or from our customers. The best way to reach us is directly by phone, at (866) OUTLAWS, or at support.outlawaudio.com

I would note, anytime using an external processor, whether it be an equalizer, compressor, limiter, etc. you should reach out to the manufacturer of that device. The RR2160 does have an external processor loop and pre-outs; they can both output over 2Vrms and much more peak. You should check with Bose to make sure your equalizer can handle this kind of voltage without overloading it's input stage.

If it can't, you could wind up with noise and popping; worse case scenario, you could damage the EQ and the receiver if you kept running it in that manner.

You could also use inline RCA attenuators to drop the voltage before it reaches the EQ, like those by Harrison Labs, but that would in turn lower the output capabilities of the receiver.

Hopefully Bose can enlighten you more about that equalizer!
