7140 paired with what?

Looking to put a 7.1.4 system together and like the reviews of the 7140. What would be the best to pair up. A 5000 and have a channel unused. Or a bunch of (4) 2200 monoblocks?

The 5000 being the obviously less expensive option.

If you go with the monoblocks, they have more power than the 7140. So, you'd probably use them for the front left/right, surround left/right?

Or go with the 5000, which is less power than the 7140, for the 4 height channels and leave the fifth channel unused.
The height channels don't require as much power as the core 7 channels anyway.

I'd go with the 5000 to power the .4 portion.
