FINANCING PROGRAM

FINANCING PROGRAM - 12/02/10 06:28 PM

I don't know if this is the right place for this......
Anyways I was wondering if anyone uses the Outlaw credit card?
I was thinking about getting the AV7005/7500 combo to replace my Denon 3808 / Emotiva set up.

On another note I really can't find much info on the 7500 vs Emotiva XPA-5. I currently have Emotiva UPA-1 mono blocks for my amps but I'm wanting to try something new.

Any comments are greatly appreciated.

For what it's worth, I wrote a review of the 7500 a few years ago - it's still going strong in my system, and I'm still very pleased with it.

Yeah I read that review today. When I was doing my early research I was set on Outlaw but mostly for limited budget I went with Emotiva. I like there amps but I'm still drawn back to the 7500 or maybe the 7700. I only run 5.1 but I could bi-amp my L/R front speakers.

I'm just trying to figure out how to come up with the money.I got to sell all my current stuff and see where I'm at.

So I guess no one has ever used the Outlaw financing program.
Online i have only heard really bad things about GE Money.

Thanks for the help.

I have used the financing. It is like most consumer/retail cards. If you spend $1000+, you get no interest for one year, as long as you make your payments on time and pay off the balance within the year. If you don't, you will pay a very high rate of accrued interest.
I set it up for automatic withdrawl from my checking account, so I'm not late on the payments, and I have watched the one year date closely, so as not to miss that one. For example, I bought about $3000 worth of gear about a year ago. I will pay the balance off next month, or will add about $750 in accrued interest charges. If I pay it off in time, I will truly have had a no interest loan for the year.

cuz, thank you for the feed back. Sounds like if you are responsible it's a good deal.
