Seeing how "black" is on the way out with regrard to the dominate AV color,It would be a new and unique idea to manufacture faceplates of differant colored anodized metals that could be individually ordered and alaned or thumb screwed to any new AV unit that you produced.
Silver / cherry red / midnight blue / white / orange / .......
