How about a stereo pre amp

How about a stereo pre amp - 09/16/05 01:28 PM

There is a vacancy in the market right now for a stereo preamp with Outlaw quality.

Something with 4 line level inputs, maybe a pair of stereo outputs and a remote with volume, balance, source select and mute buttons would be wonderful.

I know lots of folks that would want one.

throw in a quality d/a converter with a couple coax and a couple optical inputs so we can have the option,if we choose, let's also not forget a tape mon. loop, and no tuner.i'll bet it's been 2 years since i've listened to the radio at home.

i'd be interested.

I'll second the stereo preamp. I am in the market for one now. The RR2150 would be awsome if it only didn't have those pesky amplifiers inside...

You could always just use the preamp out from the 2150 and pretend the amps weren't there...

I wish it were that easy...

I am looking for a small-ish stereo preamp and the RR2150 is just too big. I would also feel silly buying the whole thing and never really using the amp sections. I would guess that they could easily pull off an excellent PA by doing to the RR2150 what they did to the 1070. Just pull out the amps, clean it up, and "Voila"!
