Outdoor OAWA3

It would be great to have an OAWA3 that was capable of operating in rain/snow/hot weather/cold weather for use outside or in the garage or deck/patio.

Even better would be AirPlay support so you don't require a transmitter connected to your receiver/amp along with the hassle of selecting the input device.

Pair all of this up with a set of outdoor speakers and it would be a nice independent system.

I would greatly prefer to keep the sensitive electronics out of the weather. The OWA3 does not have an amp so it has to be in close proximity to the amplifier which drives the speakers. Without some enclosure against the elements the amp would be exposed. Running a weatherproof speaker wire to a set of outdoor speakers is all I had to do to make my outdoor system pretty protected from the elements. With a set of powered outdoor speakers and a 100 meter transmit range, the OWA3 gives you plenty of flexibility to use it for whatever you want.
