Model 975 and stereo

For those of you who have this processor what is your opinion of its sound when running in stereo? I know it's a HT AVR but wondered just same whether it's good for 2 channel music.

I run my 975 in stereo occasionally and have no complaints. Well I do have complaints but they are all related to the trade-offs I had to make to get my system to fit in my home theater (a.k.a The Basement).

Of course the usual caveats apply: Good speakers, good layout, good room acoustics, etc..

I don't have any complaints at all about stereo performance.

Excellent for stereo with my OPPO BDP-105 source.

I use mine with the BDP-103 and have been impressed with the stereo performance. I can also say the tuner section turned out be much better than expected.
