Nice - did you have a hand in getting that installed and powered up?

Ya, We had to upgrade the power from 208v, 350 amps 3 phase to 208v, 800 amps, 3 phase! New hoist system, ugraded from 40,000 lbs to 60,000 lbs. The whole thing is pushing 58,000 lbs.
Daktronics LED rings, Mitsubishi Screens.
With over runs came in at around 6 million, (should of brought the Electricians in sooner!)

Not really the first in the country... The University of Virginia's new John Paul Jones Arena uses 6 of these screens, 4 in the scoreboard and 2 in the lobby as you enter. I was there on August 1st for opening night and they are impressive. Bet its cool to be involved in something like that.

That would be a cool project to work on - not to mention a good test of how comfortable you are with heights. I took a tour of FedExForum last year (my firm was one of an insanely large number of engineering firms involved in the design, but I didn't work on it and didn't even go there until it had been open for over a year). On our way to the roof, we wandered through a bunch of the catwalks around the perimeter. It's not a place that everyone's comfortable with, although I enjoyed it.

Stressful more like it! Catwalks are fine, try going over the rails and walking the beams to fix the goal cameras.

Yeah, now that one I could live without...
