12 Volt Trigger - 07/29/06 10:54 AM
I was fortunate enough to acquire 6 Crown amps after an upgrade in the building I work with. I would like to control when thes babies come on through my 1050's 12 volt trigger. None of these have the trigger that I know of as yet. Thinking about using a 12 volt relay controling a contactor turning them off and on. The question I have is the 1050's trigger momentary or constant? TIA Jim

I would think it would definately be constant.

Which model are they? I was using four DC300As of various vintages, biamping my 4 channel inline room.
When I decided to get a 7700 I initially was going to sell my 755 but decided to try it, replacing the Crowns. The newer technology definitely makes it better.
But it was kinda nice being able to independently adjust the volume levels. Enjoy yours. I have for many years.

The trigger signal is constant on the 1050 (and the other Outlaw gear).
