ok,funds don't allow for the JL amps i want,but i must carry on with my truck.you can see the panel i have to copy(above),it goes right under the rear window. some earlier pics were deleted,sorry.

When you do get it all setup you have got to put the meter to her . I have just one word on amps . JL 1000/1 . SWEET !

One last thing . Did you ever find that hand that was missing . LOL

jl 1000/1 would be WAY cool,but $$$$$.

i'm looking at ppi 1500.1(and 450.4) much cheaper.

I had to sign into Microsoft Passport and the page still can not be found. Maybe it's just me, though.

strange,i can come to the saloon,click on my link a couple posts ago.go to the page,close the page.click on the link again,'page cannot be found'...close out internet,,,,and repeat.can anybody tell me why?

Maybe it's an IE thing... I'm using Firefox with no problems at all. Click on link and it opens. Close, repeat... repeat... repeat... no problems.

finished the fabrication of the mounting baffle,for those interested.still alot of work smoothing the inner,the outer(the sub will 'rise out of the box') will be 'capped'

this really has come out abolutely beautiful!i've probably got about 20 hours in the fabrication.not to mention the kerosene,beer, and cigs while stuff cured.

took this to my jl dealer(boxes must be pre-approved for warranty).he said(tongue in cheek) i didn't have enough braces,the binding post where too small,preferred polyfill(that's when i joined in on the laugh) and i had improper beer!
he wants coors light!

i heard santa say something about a jl 500/1 for a late christmas present,no wait,I said that!

put the sub in the truck so i could hear it for awhile.it's strong! gonna have to take it back out,pull the interior(again)and do metal fab.before the mock-up.before the glass.primer.paint.if i didn't love it i'd say it's gettin' old.
