tivo upconverting problems

I have a 7100/950 combo in a component closet. I cannot get a tivo box - unless its high def- that has a component video out for direct TV? The samsung I have doesn't have it and the 950 won't upconvert the s-video right? I cannot run another cable without much hassel, so can I get a converter? cheap? any idea's folks?

Just have a s-video connection from 950 to TV as well as the component connection. 950 will detect the best signal and route your signal via the same path. For example, dvd to 950 via component will go to to TV via component connection and Tivo to 950 via s-video will go to TV via s-vidio connection.

I have Direct Tivo and it's only got s-vidio. I will wait until HD DirectTivo gets a little cheaper before upgrading -- I got a upgrade dish, too.
