Widescreen?

Does the XBox (or the games) give you the choice to play the games in 16x9 mode?

In the Xbox dashboard setup..you set the screen settings according to what TV you have. They even offer a letterbox version if youre so enclined.

Some games dont utilize widescreen as good as others. Halo looked compressed to me but I got used to it and cant even tell anymore.

Yeah, thats one aspect the Xbox has that kills the other consoles....all games are progressive...ALL support Dolby Digital, which obviosuly adds a whole new dimension to sitting on your couch playing games
