So with the Marantz 7701 and the Outlaw 975 available what does this say about a future pre amp from Outlaw (such as the 978 was supposed to be)?

For me, the Marantz AV8801 has everything I was looking for in a Pre/Pro except perhaps two more channels than I wanted and price.

I think it is the most expensive pre-pro Outlaw has ever offered for sale. Plus, in order to use it fully, you need 11 channels of amplification. I am sure anyone investing so heavily in the processor is also going to be able to afford the amps. I would go with a 7500 and a 7075 myself for the amps.
