How about a saloon for allowing people too post their experiences, success and failures, with in home projects. Resources on acoustic treatments, how to build ??????? and the like. Guides and manuals posted by those who choose too on how they did it and allowing the outlaws to decide.

I agree with painttoad. There is the Tips and Tricks forum and I have posted things similar to your examples there. The thing is, there is not a huge amount of traffic at this forum, so by using the active topics link I can pretty much see everything that has happened in a day. If there was much more traffic here, like some of the larger forums (such as AVS) I could see breaking things down more. However, I feel we would also loose some of the friendly easy going nature with that kind of traffic as well. As it is now, I could post "Got a new LFM-1 Today" in the 7700 forum and everyone would still see it using the active posts link anyhow. Not that I suggest doing that however.
