I haven't seen any information in the R-972 thread at AVS indicating that it was in production. That could either mean that they haven't started building them yet, or it could mean that they haven't gotten them over to the states yet. Either way, they haven't started showing up in people's homes yet, because I expect that we'd have heard about that.

I did see this interesting page on their site http://www.sherwoodusa.com/prod_r972_trinnov.html that talks about what we can expect out of the Trinnov product.

Looks a lot better than what you get with the Audyssey offerings from Integra, etc.

Snags in getting something new like this to market are to be expected. But it would be nice to hear from S/N or Outlaw some form of an update. Communication does wonders.

I think your link is misformed.

I hate it when that happens. Thought I hit the spacebar after posting the link.

Stupid spacebar. smile

Also, on second thought, I don't think "misformed" is a word. Oh well :-)

I read it and it sounds cool. Will be interesting to hear what kind of difference it makes. Looking forward to some professional reviews.

The AVS Forum on the S/N R-972 is saying that the S/N rep is confident of availability in late January 2009. If true, our 997 can't be too far behind!
