Way cool Outlaws. Just wanted to congratulate you on getting the LCR speaker out to us.

Keep up the good work!

Indeed, congratulations on the LCR! I'll have to keep an eye out for the next issue of S&V...

Edit: that's what I get for leaving a page idle for an hour before posting! smile Off to read a review real quickly.

Interesting reading...this might be one of a few speakers that can do well with 2 channel as well as multichannel sound thanks to the flexibility of the crossovers.

The LCR announcement generated a bit of evening reading over here - between the web page, the manual, and the review, there's quite a bit to look through. It does sound like a very well thought-out product with some unusual capabilities.

Sounds great!! If I hadn't just convinced the wife of a set of Zu Druids I might have to look at these!

Congrats, your products are great. They do look like the Platinum speakers I bought about 9 years ago & they are still great. That company made some good speaker but went out of business around 1999. If they sound like those you have a winner.

I'd love to give these a test drive some day. Tough to make a purchasing decision based off one review and not having the chance to audition them.

I have the Klipsch RB-75 reference system and it's great for acoustic music and movies, but falls flat when listening to symphony, ambient and trance music. Considering my system is setup in my living room, I tend to listen to a lot of music in that room. These might be an ideal replacement, especially at this price point.

I think that's why they offer a 30 day in-home trial, so you can audition them.

Right, but it's a bit of a hassle unpacking everything, hooking them up and then repacking them if you're not happy. A lot of work in 30 days IMO.

Hassle? That sounds like fun to me.
