start at projectorcentral.com. Tons of information and some nice comparisons.

Then go to AvsForum.com and wade through the projector posts on there. There's some good information on there buried within the personal opinions.

I've found two price points on HT projectors where I think you will find the good ones. The nice Panasonics and Sanyos start at about $1500 after rebates. The really nice ones above those start at just over $3000. For that top price, you can get a very sweet HD projector. Always remember though that you need a really dark room if your going to get the most out of a projector. Also, remember that replacement bulbs can run you close to $400 a pop. Good luck!
