Maggies???? What center channel

I'm soon to have a 950, powered by a Parasound HCA 1205A amp. My main speaks will be 1.6 QR's, and the surrounds, probably the mmgw....So, who has tried/has the CC3?? Is it nice?? Just looking for opinions and suggestions on what center should be had. Any better for surrounds?? Or should the MMGW's be fine for the surrounds?

I liked the CC3, but found it to be a bit too large for my listening environment. I also didn't discern any real benefit in terms of sound quality over my existing center channel speaker. If you've got the space and the budget, go for it! 8-)

I have the CC3 and it is a good tonal match for the rest of my system (1.6QR fronts and MMG rears). The smaller planar speakers are fine for Home Theater use, but less than ideal for 5 channel music formats such as DVD-Audio and SACD (only have the former).

I'm pleased with the set up.
