Adjusting height of Rear Speakers

Adjusting height of Rear Speakers - 06/25/05 12:38 PM

I want to raise the height of my rear speakers about 6 inches, but they are floor standing speakers that weight over 100 lbs each. I don't just want to set them on bricks, I would like something aesthetically pleasing, functional and adjustable. Does anyone know of an after market product that could provide the desired results?

The stand these speakers are using is kind of what I had in mind.

Meangene, I did not know that you were wanting the Sistrum stands . Pretty sharp looking stuff out of New York wouldn't you say . Kinda Costly too .

They are sharp and I would love to have four of them, but I would rather spend that kind of money in area's more critical, at this time. I wanted to experiment first so I went down to the local Home Depot and bought a couple of large potted plant stands. They are about the right height and made out of sturdy iron. They don't look as nice, but they are doing the job and so far I like the results.
