Has anyone got experience with a budget projector such as the Epson 3020 or the Optoma HD33. I am getting ready to set up my HT in a dedicated room in my basement and could use some suggestions as to what is out there that won't break my budget. Something less than $2000 is what I am looking for.

Last Summer I bought a system through VApex as part of a package.
The package was a Epson 8700UB (refurbished) a 106" 16/9 fixed screen, a couple of calibration disks a Universal ceiling mount and a 25 foot HDMI all for just over $1900.
I was (still am) uncertain concerning 3D so didn't go that way.
They now have a package for the Epson 3020 $1800 to $2000, depends on screen size.
Don't know what else is included. The 8700UB is my first and I am happy with it.
