Paradigm Mini-Monitors - 04/05/01 04:13 AM
Has anyone used the minis with their systems (750 or 1050)? Also, would the 750 amp blow out the minis?
TIA

I am curious about this as well. I have Mon7s, CC350, and 4 Minis (2 in another room until I go with a 7 speaker setup).
Would it be way too much juice for these speakers?

I don't think the 750 amp would be too much for the Mini Monitors. I have the Outlaw 750 and I am using Paradigm Ref 20's but I am planning on getting a pair of Mini Monitors for my 2 center surround speakers in 6.1/7.1 system. The MMs have a amp range of 15-100 watts according to Paradigm's site but it should not be a problems as long as you don't listen at too high a level. I hope someone will comment who is actually running a 750 with the Mini Monitors.

I tend to agree with mdanderson. I'm driving Paradigm Ref Studio/60's, Studio/CC, and the smaller Studio/ADP surround speakers from a 750 very nicely. There is probably enough power in the 750 to damage the minis, but only if your really crank 'em up.

I currently have Mini-Monitors v3 powered via the 1050. I've only had them for about 2 weeks and haven't got to really push them [2 year old son
]. But, they handled everything I put through them so far.
