Matching Center for Outlaw bookshelf

Matching Center for Outlaw bookshelf - 03/16/07 04:05 PM

By looking at the spec I think Outlaw bookshelf is good for both music and movie, but for good HT setup without a matching Center is not exceptable.
Is there any Center speaker out there will be match with Outlaw Bookshelf?
Will Outlaw make their own Center speaker to match with their bookshelf?

Outlaw has said that they've got a center channel in development. I don't know what the time frame might be on that speaker, though.

It's hard to say what non-Outlaw speaker might match the Outlaw Bookshelf well since nobody's heard the Bookshelf yet. Of course, you could always get a third Bookshelf and use it as a center - after all, the ideal center is often considered to be one that is identical to the other fronts.

Hello all,

To set the record straight, ANY speaker we release in the future will have similar timbre characteristics to each of the other types.

When we determined that we would only offer four models (bookshelf, center channel, surround, and floor standing), we were already considering the number of possible combinations (plus one new one that no manufacturer has yet thought of.) Interchangeability of the Outlaw speakers has always been our design goal.

As you know, we will start shipping this coming week and we are looking forward to hearing the early reactions from those first customers.

Best Regards,

Peter Tribeman
