LFM-1 Plus and EX - power cable not very secure?

Anyone have or had an issue with the power cable not being very secure at the sub end? They come out too easily. Wondering about flexing the male ends at the sub, but would hate to damage something. May be my only route to go. Not sure if anyone else had or has this issue.

I guess no one has seen this issue. I'll revamp the wiring. Maybe I was shortening the wire too much and put too much pressure when bundling it. Probably my bad. I'm very, very pleased with the Plus and EX I purchased. Fill the 2500 cubic room nicely and still need to do more research and get the SMS-1 calibrated properly for different sources(movies vs. music vs. video games). Only used the quick setup for now. And then comes the 978! Woohoo! Toward the end of year of course... ;-) Nice Christmas, then amp for Feb. birthday to upgrade the 750 I've had forever! New and improved is coming together quite nicely....

My unit was just dellivered yesterday and that is the first thing that I noticed upon setup; I'll be calling into the support number after the New Year.

I use a 90 degree connector to reduce the stress on the connection.

Mine is the same way but it has never caused any problems even with an aftermarket 10GA power cord.

My power cable also seems loose. Coming from an Atlantic Tech sub from 15 years ago and the power cable on that one was nicely snug. I just make sure that there is plenty of slack in the cord.

While the cable may appear to be "loose" actually the pins are tight in the receptacle, and this does not interfere with the AC operation of the unit.
