depth of 7700

Can anyone measure the depth of the 7700 for me? The web site says 18 inches. Does that include all of the connectors on the back?

I'd leave yourself an extra 2-3 inches for protruding cables.

Well, if the web site says 18" for the device + 2-3 inches for cables in the back...you should budget about 21" of space for the device. If you don't mind it protruding a bit in front (the feet aren't flush with the front of the amp), you can possibly get away with less.

I don't like "extreme" bends in my cabling so I always try to leave extra room in the back.

The case itself is 16.5" deep.

16.5 inches deep!?!? The web site says 18 inches. What happened to the other inch and a half. That's a lot to lose!

The specs must take into account the binding posts which protrude from the rear face.
