Hi all, Ive had my OA system for awhile now (970 + two 2200's). From day one I never had a backlight to the OA remote that came with it. Can I enable this feature, and/or does this have anything to do with the jumper block in the battery compartment? None of the jumpers are closed.

If the backlight on the remote doesn't work, I'd recommend giving Outlaw a call tomorrow. I'm not aware of a way to enable/disable that feature, so they may need to ship you a replacement remote.

No, but those pins are for the JP1 computer interface - they shouldn't be jumpered.
