Suddenly- as in today- my 970 will not respond to the remote. I use a logitech to control everything, but for the finer points of the 970 I always use the remote- which I did last night. Today Nothing happens. I changed batteries to.
Also, may or may not be related the volume for the sub output seems to be about 2/3 down.
Andy advice is desperately appreciated.

Make sure your remotes battery terminals are not corroded and not making good contact.

Well I put in a SECOND set of new batteries and viola! Maybe the first set of "new batteries" were just duds? Still got that lower sub output problem though. Weird.

As for your sub output try looking at your crossover settings and whether your speakers are set to large or small.

Yeah. I went back through everything. going to hook up the "upstairs" sub (Klipsch RPW10) to make sure it isn't the Epik Legend.
