Good power filter/surge protection for amp only? - 11/27/07 11:17 PM

Hey Outlaws thanks much for helping me out with info on the dedicated circuits.

Now that I have them installed, can anyone recommend a good filter/surge protector for just amps? In this case I have 3 amps (1 x 200w 7 ch amp and 2 x 250w Monster sub towers). Most HT power conditioners out there seem like they are made for more conventional home theaters where everything is plugged into the same circuit.

I'm open to any ideas. Would like to spend less than $300.

Is it even necessary?

I have the PS Audio Duet and I like it. You can find them on Audiogon for $300 or less. If you have multiple circuits you can also look at getting the Soloist, which is a in the wall socket that provides all the filtering and surge protection for about $150.

Good Luck.

Thanks...I see that PS Audio sells the Duet direct for $295.

I use the Belkin PureAV PF 60 for everything in my stem and I am very pleased. The Amp and subwoofer are in the High current outlets and the 1070 is in the receiver outlet.

I use quality , shielded al all main components.
