I have a Integra DTC-9.8 paired with my 7125, My problem is my volume on the 9.8 is dead between -15 to +6, I tried everything but no luck. I wouldn't think it's a Amp problem, I am sure 120 wpc should be much louder then I'm getting, any idea's on how to fix, this problem is in 2 ch stereo mode.

What do you mean by "dead"? Is it outputting nothing at that point, or is it just not changing any? If it only happens in stereo mode, does it affect digital and analog sources?

The volume stays the same, I'm using all HDMI , If I use the direct mode it's somewhat louder but no subwoofer output and the sound quality is less then good

Did you calibrate with Audyssey? I have heard that there are some odd volume level permutations employed by Audyssey to compensate for the EQ processing required. It may be that you ought to re-run Audyssey and let it sample as many positions as it can (even if you re-use some) to see if the results change.

Yes I used Audussey, re-did it last night with no change in volume, I also read of other users with the same problem but have yet to read if it's fixable, very frustrating.

A curious test would be to turn off Audyssey and see what happens.

Check the wiring on your amp out to the speakers and at the speaker to make sure you haven't shorted it somewhere. For all channels to be low I would look at the amp output wiring closely to make sure you don't have some stray strands. Just before the problem started had you done anything to the system?

Thanx Xenonman, the wires are cool, It's a issue with the possessor, Now I'm reading post that it needs a firmware upgrade, then another person say's no, don't do it ha ha, Time for a upgrade.

Gonk has the 885 which is the same as the 9.8 so he will be your best source of info.
