Did anyone get theirs yet?

I ordered mine almost 2 weeks ago now. They said there was a slight delay but It was supposed to go out this week. I still haven't recieved it yet.

NOPE......

I placed my order about 3 days ago for the 990/7125 stack and was told to expect a possible delay due to high demand.

I'm a first time owner of Outlaw products, but I figure quality this good at the price they offer is well worth the wait.

Summer vacation schedules at our manufacturer and their suppliers have stretched the delivery of the Model 7125 out a few more days than we initially projected. Hang in there, we should be shipping within the next five to ten days.

Jeeze. I thought I was getting mine two weeks ago. My 990 is sitting in the box. I can't wait to get this puppy going.

Ordered the 990/7125 about 10 days ago. The 990 was here the next day, but no 7125 yet. I was told that some further testing had to be on them first. I'm so excited going to seperates from a Yamaha RXV630 receiver and now I just can't wait. I hope it's a good move.

David, I feel your pain. I'm dying to see what the seperates sound like. I've been using a reciever forever. I wish Outlaw would have told me that I was going to have to wait longer from the start. I'm glad I didn't unhook my reciever. I would have been really pissed. Something told me to leave it hooked up until I actually got the new amp.

John, I hope it's soon. As of today, I was told that it might happen later this week or very early next.

Sounds promising for 7125's to be in equipment racks and churning away by the end of next week (allowing for shipping time to customers and at least a little time for folks to unpack them and hook them up). The waiting always sucks, of course, but it looks like it'll be over soon.

Hey gonk. I know you from hometheaterforum.com. I'm like a little kid when it comes to my new HT gear. In reality it isn't a big deal. My HT isn't going to be complete until I get my projector. That isn't going to be until the end of the year or the begginning of next year. I'm sure the 990/7125 combo is going to thrill my family for years to come.

Dave, I was told the same thing two weeks ago. If they indeed have to do more testing that is a scary sign for me in some ways. I hope they iron out whatever kinks need to be worked out.

If Scott felt comfortable enough to make his post Sunday night, then the testing was probably acceptance testing - making sure that everything was up to spec.

John, I hope their testing turns out good. I guess it's better that they send us perfectly functional units initially.

Gonk, I have no choice but to think of it as acceptance testing right now. It just kills me everytime I check my inbox and finds nothing from OUTLAW AUDIO. This (wait) is heavier than my morning workouts.

I wouldn't read anything bad in to the delay. Nothing Scott said implied anything to do with testing, merely the fact that at this time of year suppliers' delivery dates sometimes get stretched due to key people going on vacation and that causing the production lines to slow down. From everything we know, the amp supplier is one of the best around and there shouldn't be any quality concern. Probably the only quality concern is if the line workers have a quality vacation! At this point I don't think Scott would have said "five to ten days" unless he was fairly confident.

PodBoy, I understand what you are saying. I called and spoke to someone who said that further testing had to be done. It wasn't Scott or the message that he posted. Next week we'll all be happy when the wait is over.

For those who have been patiently waiting, here's the latest update on the Model 7125. We dispatched one of the Outlaws to our manufacturer to see what is going on and to push things along. We're please to report that the first batch is now off the production line and done with final testing. Everything sounds -- and looks -- great. We'll begin shipments Monday, or Tuesday at the latest, and all current orders should ship by the by August 18th.

We apologize for the delay, but can again assure you that when you hear how this amazing amp sounds you will know it was well worth the wait. Even though this is our RED HOT summer, we want to help keep the heat off a bit, so we will be sending everyone who has a Model 7125 on order one of our cool Outlaw hats as a token of our thanks for bearing with us during this unanticipated delay.

Thanks for the update scott! I can't wait to see what it sounds like. Tell Steve thanks for the help. He assured me that there would indeed be a replacement for the 7100. Now I got the 7125 for the same price.

I want to thank everyone for their patience during the 7125 delay. We have begun shipments today and will continue to work through the backlog of orders for the remainder of the week. I expect to have all current orders shipped before Friday. However, I do ask that you do not call to inquire when your unit will ship as this will only slow things down for everyone. Tracking numbers will be sent out on the next business day via the email you originally provided us.

Also, as I mentioned previously, everyone who has a Model 7125 on order will receive one of our Outlaw hats (in a separate shipment) as a token of our appreciation for your patience. Any new orders from this point on, will not qualify for a free hat as we do not anticipate any further delays beyond our current backlog.

You're lucky. I would love to get the deal but my basement needs waterproofing work as well as finishing (that's where the future media room goes) and since the wife is pregnant and seeing all this money going out she is an emotional basketcase when I talk about spending money on the Outlaw equipment. I have to wait until the dust settles and she actually would prefer that I spend more on the equipment later to insure the basement gets done properly (mold-free). Good deal for the Outlaws I guess .

Bruce: Hope you get the waterproofing done before winter, but remember that any of the fumes that some types of applied waterproofing gunk out-gas may not be the best for your wife (and the baby!) at this time.

Thanks for the heads up! Due date is September 24. Not too much time left.

I'm NOT a doctor, but from what I recall, the chance for any damage is greatest in the first and second trimesters. At this point, she's pretty much cooked! I'd still be cautious, though.

I guess in addition to "Home Theater in design mode" you also have "Home Theater Viewers in the production mode"!

Just got mine. This baby is a beast! I'll be hooking it up tonight, but initial impression is WOW....and I'm getting too old to lift this much weight in this small a package.

Those who've got them already, how 'bout posting your impressions.

I'm still in the middle of re-wiring my system. Unfortunately it's going to be a while before I finally get it going.

Do you have your system going yet? I'd like to know what you think of the amp/preamp combo.

I received mine a couple of weeks ago, and have been truly enjoying it ever since! I bought it along with the 990 and 2 LFM-1s (although my current room is too small to really let me use both LFM-1s, so I am only using one, and I still have to back it off!). I also bought a Paradigm Reference Studio system consisting of 2 Studio 100 towers, the CC 570, and 4 ADP 470s (don't have the ADP 470s hooked up yet, as I am still in a rental while we are building our new home).

Anyway, the sound is stunning, and the Paradigms are known for long break in periods--can't wait to hear them after they have been fully broken in! The 990 and 7125 combo sounds great, and supplies plenty of power, even to power hungry speakers like the Studio 100s.

Depth, clarity, soundstage, everything is beyond anything I have ever heard in a home system. I am rediscovering my CD and DVD collections and am noticing things I never noticed before. Subtle sounds and details I never knew existed, and slamming, wall shaking bass I had barely heard before, let alone feel. I am impressed.

Quite frankly, I have heard home systems far more expensive that don't offer this level of sound quality, and while I know there are better sounding systems out there, aside from other Outlaw products (like the 770) I simply can't imagine a significant difference without spending ridiculous amounts of money on your equipment. I have nothing but positive things to say about Outlaw, and I will strongly recommend all their products to my friends. Thanks to Outlaw for delivering such outstanding performance for such outstanding prices!
