Ordered an LFM-2 today!

Really looking forward to getting it and setting it up.

I'll be mating it with my RR2150 and a pair of NHT Classic Three monitors in a bedroom system for primarily vinyl playback of classic rock - should do the trick quite nicely!

Man, now I'm really envious. Let us know how it pairs up.

Anyhow - discovered something last night. I've been having a little trouble with boomy bass in my oh-so-not-so-perfect room. I'm sure repositioning the sub would solve it - but it's just not possible in this room.

Something prompted me to download the manual for the Hsu STF-1 sub that the LFM-2 is based upon (they both share the same components - just a little different designs).

In the Hsu manual, it mentions that when using external bass management that if you experience boomy bass to switch the crossover on the sub to "in" and set it to 90hz.

I did this last night in conjunction with setting the bass management on the RR2150 to 60hz and the bass is much more tuneful, deep, and the boom I was experiencing went away in full.

Just thought I'd pass it along to anyone having the same problem!
