Secrets just posted a very nice review of the LFM-2:

It must be review time around here. That looks to be another good one. Don't have time to finish it right now but will catch up later. Thanks Michael.

1. The review lists the freq resp as 25-180 +/- 2 db. The manual (combined LFM1 and LFM2) lists it the same. However, the Outlaw product desc page:
http://www.outlawaudio.com/products/lfm2.html
lists it as 28-180 +/- 2db

So, which one is the correct one ? (I think the product page is correct...)

2. In the review - http://www.hometheaterhifi.com/volume_13_2/outlaw-lfm2-subwoofer-5-2006-part-2.html
- Pg 2 - look at the graph. The in-room SPL is > 100 at 20Hz, but it falls between 38Hz and 48Hz and then picks up again. Little strange, isn't it?

For a sub with a +/- 2db freq resp of 28-180, that is a very impressive SPL of 100 at 20 Hz...

I guess Dr. Hsu and the Outlaws really worked hard at this...

Measurements will be different in every room, so there really is no 'correct' one.
