I just need a reminder...I thought I remembered reading a thread around here that mentioned a trade up or trade in deal when the new Pre/Pro arrives some time in 2008. If there is a deal what is it and how long would we have. Thanks for any info. Also, does anyone have any idea what the retail price may be for he new Pre/Pro. Just thought I might save some of that tax refund.

No word on price or arrival time for a 990 replacement, but the deal announced in October was $200 off of a next-gen surround processor during the first six months that it's shipping for any 990 or 970 owners.
