I just got a Scientific Atlanta Explorer 8300 with DVR. The codes that I have just control the cable box but I can't access the DVR controls. Any recs?
Here's a list of all the possible codes that I gleaned from the 990 manual and HiFi Remote.com : 0008, 0017, 0277, 0237, 0477, 0877. One of those is a Pace Micro code, but Pace Micro and Scientific Atlanta are often both used by the same cable provider (I have a Pace HD box in the den and an SA box in the bedroom).
The remote code libraries included on cable box remotes (and satellite remotes and many TV remotes) tend to be a little limited when it comes to smaller manufacturers - generally companies like Outlaw are simply missing. I've not heard of any Scientific Atlanta Explorer remote codes that would give control of the Model 990.
