I have a question - 04/22/05 02:48 PM

The balanced out put on the back of the 990?

What are they for?
What do the hook up too?
What kind of cables?

I now it's a silly question just no experince with them laugh

But this is very exciting news never the less. The book room that I've been working on is almost complete. So be year end I maybe allowed by wife-e-pooh to get this laugh

Balanced outputs are used to connect to certain kinds of amps or outboard processing (equalizers and such). They are an alternative to the regular "unbalanced" outputs that most of us use to connect to amps. You use cables like these from Blue Jeans Cables (Outlaw doesn't make any balanced cables yet, although I suspect they're on the way.)

They announced a 7x300W amp last May that will have balanced inputs. The Model 790. I'm guessing that we'll hear more about it next weekend when they're at the HE Show in New York.
